Uniotec is currently working on a significant project that includes the construction of the Ulog Hydroelectric Power Plant (HE) with a capacity of 35 MW on the upper course of the Neretva River in the municipality of Kalinovik. The project is carried out on the basis of the concession granted by the Government of the Republic of Srpska for the construction and use of the Ulog Hydroelectric Power Plant.
The preparatory phase of the project, which includes investigative activities, preparation of project documentation and preparation of the construction site, has been successfully completed. The start of construction of the Ulog Hydroelectric Power Plant is planned for 2019.
The main contractor for the construction of the Ulog Hydroelectric Power Plant will be Sinohydro Corporation Limited, a reputable company based in the People's Republic of China.
The total investment value for the project is estimated at 70 million euros, reflecting the comprehensive scope and size of the undertaking.
Commercial operation of the Ulog Hydroelectric Power Plant is expected to begin in 2023, marking the completion of careful planning, precise construction and collaboration between Uniotec and its partners. This venture not only contributes to the region's energy infrastructure, but also underlines Unioteca's commitment to delivering high-caliber projects that meet stringent industry standards.
