Overview
The Patrijarh Pavle building, with an area of 1,300 m2, represents a significant project for the construction of a kindergarten in East Novo Sarajevo. The works officially started in August 2023, and the planned completion is in May 2024. The mayor of the municipality, Jovan Katić, told Srna that 1,451,970 KM including VAT has been set aside for this initiative, with a construction period of eight months.
The construction contract was signed with a group of contractors, including Uniotec from East Novi Sarajevo, together with Termo Tanasić from Doboj, Prizma and Uni-tehnika from Bijeljina. The construction of the kindergarten is financed from the funds of the Municipal Administration of East Novo Sarajevo and the City Administration of East Sarajevo.

The project includes an area of 1,300 m2 intended for a kindergarten, and does not include furnishing and decorating the space, which will be part of the next phases of the project. The municipal administration plans to conduct a public procurement procedure for exterior decoration, after which the facility will be equipped.
