U Parku Sunca u opštini Istočno Novo Sarajevo započela je izgradnja Memorijalnog kompleksa posvećenog stradalim srpskim civilima Sarajeva i Sarajevsko-romanijske regije u 20. vijeku. Ovaj kompleks predstavlja jedan od najvažnijih projekata iz oblasti kulture sjećanja u gradu Istočno Sarajevo.
As part of this project, the expert team, led by Professor Drago Mastilović, worked to collect information about the victims of Serbian civilians in Sarajevo and the Sarajevo-Romania region in the 20th century. The team successfully collected data on more than 10,000 victims, which will be published in a monograph and available on LED displays installed in the Memorial Complex.
